1/14/2010 I would like to thank each and every one of you for participating in the recent HSIP and GDM surveys sponsored by NSGIC.  Maryland had 19 respondents – an impressive number. Approximately 350 responses were received from all across the nation including territories and insular areas. The data collected is being analyzed and I believe will help DHS tailor its programs to more closely align with the needs, interests and capabilities of state and local governments. Since I asked most of you to participate it’s worth a special thank you from me for taking the time to add your thoughts. I will share what we learned from this in the days ahead. Thank you – Kenny Miller
